Link to the UP.

I started a profile on there.

I said I was not looking for men, just so it was clear I'm not going back on my "integrity" self-congratulation a couple posts back.

I woke up this morning, came to my computer to troll CNN, and was distracted by Google Desktop pop-upping little tidbits like "new mail from ImSuchAStud69" and stuff. The screen name was made up to protect the earnestly innocent.

Truth is, I have a very nice, neutral profile on there, and some nice fun pictures (since the computer transfer of pictures from "our" computer to "my" computer is going GREAT as you can see, I only have a couple to work with). And two people were intrigued enough with it to leave me kind messages. My self-consciousness drips from it, I'm sure. And they might need the karma.

Anyway, the minute I take off all the crap about Not Being On Here For Men [while desperately exploiting their message-zeal as the litmus test for the presence of my old single mojo], I think I'm going to start feeling more confident soon.

Halle Berry got cheated on, a lot.

I'm just saying.

I honestly don't think it matters how drop, dead gorgeous you are, cheating happens. It bloody happens so much more than I am comfortable with and it makes me want to take my vows as a nun.

There is something amazingly powerful about when it happens to you and how much it influences you to think about doing something drastic to your appearance, as if your appearance were the reason and if you only change it and make yourself just a tiny bit prettier, then you would be able to prevent it from happening again.

I keep catching myself with those thoughts and then I try to stomp them into the ground.

It would actually be potentially hazardous to my looks, because in my current state of mind, I might just screw up and come out with purple hair, 2 inches long.

P.S. I am so surprised by how ANGRY I feel about all of this.
